Stop-and-Frisk Practice Violated Rights, Judge Rules

Just when you thought there are no judges left in this nation who believe in the Constitution…bada boom, comes NY  judge Shira A. Scheindlin and bitch slaps  the NYPD and…oh boy oh boy…Bloomberg!

The part that I enjoyed the most about her ruling was the directive to the NYPD to fit the cops with BODY CAMERAS to record their interactions with the public. Now, THAT’S A RULING.

Let them get a taste of their own ‘we-tape-every-move-you-take’ medicine. See how they like it to have a camera always pointing at you in every corner of this city.

Ladies and gentlemen, now there is NO NEED to expose yourselves to arrest for taping the abusive interactions between a cop and a civilian. The cops will have to tape it themselves. Their abusive actions will be reflected, as in a mirror, on the person they stop and recorded.

As I always say, where there is a law, there is always a loophole for  government agencies who want to continue abusing their citizens to comfortably sliding  out of the hook. YOu see, the NYPD and Bloomberg see no ‘crime’ or abuse in their behavior. It’s like an addict who can’t get over the addiction until he or she admits to it.

Same here. This ruling is considered by the city as a ‘barrier’ to their job. They will look for loopholes to continue the violations.

But at least, for one day, we the poor and colorful people got to see justice.

Justice, it’s so badly trampled now a-days that we get surprised when we see it.

Is that you, Justice?

  1. Yes, most of us are very angry at the level of abuse to which the elite and the government (democrats and republicans) are subjecting the working class and the poor. And, yes, there is a big segment of our people concentrating only on either enriching themselves or surviving the economical storm. And yes also to the fact that life in this planet consists of the eternal balance between creation and destruction. But we humans can do both INTENTIONALLY AND RATIONALLY.

I think, there is an INSTINCTUAL desire to use violence against these vultures that feed on us. My hope is that we first learn to unite and have a solid plan to change our society, so that the vultures of Wall Street are not the ones determining whether we eat, work or have a place to live.

Going out shooting willy nilly is NOT the answer. They will recoup once we release our anger and go home happy thinking they are gone. It’s the mindS of our people what we need to focus on. BE INFORMED. JOIN A MOVEMENT. Let’s get together in a TSUNAMI of a march that will instill the fear in them. You don’t need a gun to scare them. Look at Egypt.

  2. “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Thomas Jefferson. “If you live each day as it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right” Steve Jobs. What all these newcomers ain’t be understanding is that violence combats control freakery. It discourages officials from grandiose schemes. It makes public servants behave humbly, unline these transit workers who think it assaulting them is a felony it is ok for them to drop you off on top of a pile of garbage or even to ignore you waiting while they lobby to congetion price you out of your car and further into their web of control. Entrepreneurs woul think too much about tomorrow will never take risks today. It is the constant death and creative destruction which makes America great, which ends the ties to the old world which divide us and which amkes us worry about what really matters.
